Note that Carnival and the January holidays generate very high demand for boats and accommodation throughout the Costa Verde, so it is advisable to book well in advance during these dates.
Mangaratiba has a humid tropical climate. Summer, from November to March, is hot with temperatures between 26°C and 36°C and frequent afternoon rains. Winter, from June to September, is drier and cooler with temperatures between 18°C and 26°C and slightly colder sea.
