What to expect
Starting at 7:30 AM, we will begin picking up passengers from hotels and accommodations to start the excursion towards the mountain range.
We will depart via International Route No. 7 towards the high mountains, skirting the Mendoza River and enjoying views of the Cordón del Plata and Potrerillos Dam.
We will continue the journey towards Uspallata and pass through the mountain villages of Picheuta, Polvaredas, and Punta de Vacas, discovering various mountain landscapes.
Around midday, we will visit Puente del Inca, a natural geological formation known for its colors and thermal water springs. There will be a stop for lunch at a local restaurant.
We will arrive at the viewpoint of Cerro Aconcagua, located 2750 meters above sea level, to admire the highest peak in America and its mountain surroundings.
We will visit the town of Las Cuevas, located on the border with Chile. If weather and road conditions allow, we will ascend to the Christ the Redeemer monument at 3800 meters high.
We will take a break to enjoy lunch at a restaurant in the mountain area.
In the afternoon, we will begin the return to Mendoza, with an approximate arrival at the hotel around 5:30 PM.
