What to expect
Transfer from a central hotel in Mendoza to start the High Mountain tour along Route 7.
Tour along the Potrerillos Dam during the ascent towards the Andes Mountains. Passing through the Cacheuta valley as part of the route to the high mountain.
Arrival at the historic Uspallata Valley to continue the tour through the Mendoza Andes.
Visit to the old adobe constructions linked to the liberating campaign of General San Martín.
Pass through the Los Penitentes ski center during the ascent through the frontal mountain range.
Visit to the Puente del Inca, a natural geological formation shaped by thermal waters and minerals.
Stop at a viewpoint to contemplate Mount Aconcagua and the high mountain landscape.
Arrival at the border town of Las Cuevas, located 3,200 meters above sea level.
Ascent to the Christ the Redeemer monument, located 4,200 meters above sea level, only if weather conditions allow.
Start of the return trip to Mendoza after finishing the high mountain tour.
