



Explore Salinas Grandes from Salta in an experience through the Puna with stops in Purmamarca and views of the Hill of Seven Colors.
The tour includes the ascent via Cuesta de Lipán and a visit to one of the most striking landscapes in Northern Argentina.
What to expect
Departure from the city of Salta towards San Salvador de Jujuy, passing through General Güemes. On the way, a technical stop is made in Volcán, located at 2,084 meters above sea level. The route continues through the Quebrada de Humahuaca, with a stop in Purmamarca to admire the Hill of Seven Colors, at 2,324 meters above sea level.
Then, the ascent continues through the Cuesta de Lipán, with stops at the El Balcón viewpoint and at the highest point of the route, at 4,170 meters above sea level. Further on, the journey continues towards Cochinoca, with a visit to Salinas Grandes, located at 3,400 meters above sea level.
On the way back, the descent is made again through the Cuesta de Lipán to Purmamarca, where a walk is taken along the Paseo de los Colorados. Finally, a last technical stop is made in Volcán before heading back.
