What to expect
Start your journey at 7 AM from Salta heading to San Antonio de los Cobres. After lunch, you will head to Tolar Grande, crossing the Abra de Alto Chorrillos at 4560 meters above sea level. Along the way, you will pass the Salar de Pocitos, the famous 7 Curves, the Devil's Desert, and the Devil's Salt Flat. You will arrive in Tolar Grande around 6 PM, where you will spend the night.
The second day begins at 8 AM with an exciting exploration of the Arizaro Salt Flat and the Base of the Arita Cone. After lunch in the village, you will continue your journey towards El Arenal and the Eyes of the Sea. You will spend another night in Tolar Grande.
On your last day, you will depart at 8 AM from Tolar Grande, passing through San Antonio de los Cobres and crossing again the Abra de Alto Chorrillos at 4560 meters above sea level. You will enjoy lunch in San Antonio de los Cobres.
