What to expect
Pick up at your accommodation within the urban area of Taganga or pick up at the agency Description: Start of the course with a guided review of the theoretical content of the PADI e-learning. Afterwards, the first session in confined waters is carried out to practice basic skills of buoyancy, breathing and safety in a controlled environment.
5 HoursDescription: Second training session in confined waters focused on perfecting essential maneuvers, equipment handling and underwater problem-solving techniques. A review of knowledge and preparation for the first dives in the sea is carried out.
4 HoursDescription: First two open water dives within Tayrona National Park. Fundamental exercises are practiced and coral reefs teeming with marine life are explored. The instructor evaluates progress and adjusts techniques based on the student's performance.
5 HoursDescription: Final dives to complete the course requirements, focused on improving buoyancy, underwater navigation and equipment control. Once completed, the validation of skills and the official PADI Open Water Diver certification is carried out.
