What to expect
You will meet the guide at a strategic point in the historic center of Arequipa to start the walking route.
You will tour temples and museums surrounding the main square, including the Church of San Francisco, the Temple of the Minor Franciscan Order, the Guillermo Zegarra Meneses Municipal Historical Museum, and the Casona of Fundo el Fierro.
You will walk through the San Lázaro neighborhood, admiring its narrow streets and sillar houses decorated with flowers.
You will visit Mundo Alpaca, an interactive space where you will meet llamas and alpacas and learn about the breeds and the wool production process.
You will arrive at the Plaza de Armas to see the Cathedral and the Jesuit Company Cloisters, an emblematic point of the city.
You will conclude the experience at a typical local venue where you can optionally taste Peruvian pisco before ending the tour in the historic center.
