The best time to visit the Rosario Islands is from December to April, during the dry season, when the sea is calmer, the sky is clear, and underwater visibility is excellent for snorkeling and diving. Holy Week and December are the busiest periods, so it is advisable to book transportation and accommodation well in advance. If you travel between May and November, it is good to know that rains are more frequent and the sea can be a bit rougher, although the islands remain a beautiful destination and the low season brings more affordable prices and fewer tourists.
The Rosario Islands have a warm and humid tropical climate all year round, with water temperatures between 26°C and 29°C, ideal for swimming and water sports at any time. Air temperatures range from 26°C to 33°C. The dry season runs from December to April, with very sunny days and trade winds that refresh the environment. Between May and November, rains are more frequent, especially in the afternoons, although the sun usually returns quickly.
