Excursion to Cachi and Los Cardones National Park

We depart from Salta through the Lerma Valley heading south of the province until reaching the city of El Carril. From there, we head west towards the Escoipe Gorge, where the first dreamlike landscapes begin. During the journey, we make technical stops so passengers can use the bathroom or buy a snack.

The imposing Cuesta del Obispo and the Enchanted Valley appear surrounded by majestic mountains. After passing Piedra del Molino, at 3,400 meters above sea level, the route continues through Los Cardones National Park, offering unique high-altitude and natural landscapes.

The visit includes a tour of small traditional shops and a stop in a town where peppers are dried by the roadside, offering a typical postcard of the region.

We arrive at noon in the colonial city of Cachi, where you will have two free hours to have lunch and explore this unique destination in northern Argentina. Its cobblestone streets with adobe and stone houses show a place frozen in time, preserving its original essence. During this time you can walk the 10 blocks by 10 blocks that make up the city and enjoy its varied regional cuisine (Not Included).
