



What to expect
Start searching for hotels in the city center within a 15-block radius of Plaza 9 de Julio.
We depart from the city of Salta towards San Salvador de Jujuy. There will be technical stops for passengers to use the bathroom or buy a snack.
Volcán: Technical stop to use the bathroom and buy supplies.
We continue on route 9 heading to the town of Purmamarca.
Purmamarca: We visit the Hill of Seven Colors, one of the most characteristic towns of the Humahuaca Gorge.
Tilcara: Visit to the town of Tilcara, where the Pucará is located.
Uquía: Visit to the town's church and the ceramics factory.
Once you arrive in Uquía, you will transfer to a 4x4 vehicle where the journey to Hornocal begins to enjoy these magnificent panoramic views. On the way back, there is a 20-minute stop in Humahuaca. It is recommended to bring some lunch or a light snack as there is no time to stop at a restaurant in Humahuaca.
30 minutes in the town of Humahuaca to explore and visit before returning to Salta.
Huacalera: Photographic visit to the Tropic of Capricorn.
Maimará: Photographic visit to the Painter's Palettes.
Tumbaya: Technical stop to use the bathroom and buy supplies.
We return to the city of Salta traveling the last stretch of the Humahuaca Gorge and its landscapes. We have technical stops along the way if you want to use the bathroom, buy something to eat or drink.
What you should know
- It is recommended to wear clothing suitable for the type of activity and weather at the time of the activity.
- Bring water and snacks to regain energy.
- Bring a hat, sunglasses, and sunscreen.
- To avoid altitude sickness, we recommend staying hydrated, not drinking alcohol, and eating light.
- Drinking alcohol or eating inside the bus.
- The excursion is not canceled due to rain or bad weather.
- A minimum number of participants is required for the activity to take place. If this number is not reached, it will be rescheduled for another date or a refund will be issued.
